Negril, Jamaica
Negril is a small beach resort located in the far west of Jamaica. It spreads across two parishes — Hanover and Westmoreland. So what makes Negril so special? The answer is — everything. Negril beach is one of the best beaches you can find in the world, and it offers an incredible view of the coastline. Its length is seven miles, and it is a combination of Bloody Bay in the north (two miles) and Long Bay in the south (five miles).
Whether you’re looking for smaller, family-run hotels or all-inclusive resorts, Negril has it all. You can enjoy snorkeling, swimming, diving, and numerous other activities. We should mention that you can also visit Hedonism II, which is one of the few resorts that has managed to survive all these years. It is an adult-only vacation resort that became rather popular for sexually liberal people. If you are wondering what happened to Hedonism I, it has never existed, and Hedonism III closed a decade ago. Finally, if you decide to visit this resort, you should know that clothes are optional.
Negril is an excellent tourist destination, and you will have so much fun if you decide to visit it. Even if you are not into nudity and naturism, there are still so many things to do in this beautiful Jamaican town.
Palos Verdes, California
The next destination you might want to consider is Palos Verdes. It is a coastal city located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles County. Unlike Negril, Palos Verdes doesn’t offer as many opportunities for swimming or diving, but it has an incredible view of the Pacific ocean.
Palos Verdes is perfect for outdoor adventures, and if you love hiking (or horse riding), you will adore every second spent in this county. One of the best things to do here is to enjoy the scenery. You could hike, drive, or ride a horse and just absorb all the beauty around you. If you decide to travel here, you must visit Point Vicente lighthouse, which is one of the trademarks of Palos Verdes.
It’s impressive how pristine everything looks just a few miles from Los Angeles, and many people love spending their free time here. So why not try a different type of bachelorette party?
Manchester, Vermont
For those who live at the other end of the country, Manchester might be a perfect choice. The name of this small Vermont town was inspired by the third Duke of Manchester, Rober Montagu, and it was settled in 1764. Visiting the town is so much more than experiencing a piece of history.
There are so many things to do and see. You can try fishing, hunting, kayaking, but also enjoy different food and drinks in the local restaurants. If you enjoy spending time in nature, you can hike to the top of Mount Equinox or even drive there.
Manchester is also home to the Northshire Bookstore, one of the most popular bookstores in the country, the Lincoln family home in Hildene, and the former home of Robert Frost. The town (and the nearby area) is perfect for outdoor activities, and you will enjoy it so much if you decide to visit. The best thing is that you will never forget your bachelorette party if you spend it with your friends in this lovely New England town. It is also an excellent choice for anyone who isn’t willing to travel aboard for their special night.
Cabo San Lucas, México
Cabo San Lucas is also known as Cabo, and it is a city on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. It is often named one of the best locations to visit in Mexico, and there are so many exciting things to see and do.
For those looking for various activities, Cabo is famous for its beaches, balnearios, scuba diving, marine life, and beautiful nature. The Arch of Cabo San Lucas is probably the most visited landmark, and it is popular for both tourists and sea lions. However, sea lions aren’t the only animals you’ll see. During the winter, pods of whales are common in this area, and it also welcomes sharks, rays, striped marlins, and other animals.
We understand that not everyone is interested in surfing and fishing, and there are so many other activities to try out in Cabo. For those that love bar crawls or simply visiting incredible nightclubs, there is the Cabo Wabo Cantina. It is a nightclub owned by Sammy Hagar, and it was founded by him and other members of the legendary Van Halen. Why would anyone visit Las Vegas when they can hang out in a club founded by Van Halen?
La Fortuna (Alajuela), Costa Rica
The final destination on our list is La Fortuna. The town is located in Alajuela province in Costa Rica. The name of the town means The Fortune, and it got its name for its highly fertile lands. Of course, you won’t be visiting La Fortune for agriculture.
Six miles from the town is the Arenal volcano, which is one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Interestingly, during the last eruption, the lava didn’t reach La Fortuna, which is another possible inspiration for its name. However, the town was there even before the mentioned eruption.
Besides the volcano, there is also La Catarata de la Fortuna, which is a 230ft waterfall, and a lot of hot springs that tourists can visit and bathe in. Other activities include spa treatments, rafting, hiking, visiting hanging bridges, zip-lines, biking, bungee jumping, kayaking, and many others.
La Fortuna offers incredible nature and many fun activities you and your friends can partake in. Even if you don’t feel like being physically active, you can always hang out in a hot spring resort, enjoying a couple of drinks.
